There is at least three core parts to the Nibnook writer’s platform: The Playground, Workbooks, and Story Map with guided writing nooks.

Playground
The Playground is the development center. It is where you begin projects and allows the writers to flesh out their story by answering key questions that define and fulfill key elements of storytelling.

Storybooks
The storybooks provide information about your story, characters and worlds. They allow you to find answers about your stories, characters and worlds with questions that can range from 12 to over 100 and uses the nibnook algorithm to create succinct and insightful information about the entirety of your work.

The story map is a complete map of your story from beginning to its end. It provides information about your character interactions, motivations and section-to-section connections. The writing nook provides a visual story map that allows the writer to see the big picture and follow their story from beginning to end. Not only can you see your story’s map, you can also see the maps and perspectives of all the characters involved in your project from individual point of view. You develop the characters background; it also provides the map of your world and character’s life span with who and what are involved in their life from birth to death. The writer is able to use the information provided by the storybook to write their story within the writing nook.

What exactly does nibnook do?

To put it simply, nibnook does what was once impossible. It can solve the plague of writer’s block and the anxiety of the blank page. It does this by asking you to think about your characters and worlds and the roles they play in your story in new ways. It then plugs the information you provide into the nibnook algorithm and a complete map of your story, character and worlds come to life. It does not write your story but outlines it by showing you how your characters are interacting and for what reason from the beginning to the end of your work. We have made tremendous progress in implementing the platform, which is protected by a provisional patent application, but more refinements remain. Our story

The spark of an idea

Eight years ago, I had an idea to write a book about a world that I wanted to live in. I had never written a novel, so I began a journey to learn how to bring my world to life. I immediately learned one simple fact—writing is hard. This awareness brought me to the next phase of my writing journey. I realized it is not enough for me to just to know the rules of writing; it must become an innate and instinctive process so I can freely explore my imagination during the writing process.

I tried all the writing tools I could get my hands on. I found many that were useful, and even more that were not. All the tools gave me just a piece of the whole picture I was looking for. I was on the search for something impossible—I wanted a tool that not only outlined my story for me, but also gave me incredible details I wanted about my characters (without first answering a thousand questions) and freedom from the block of what came next. I got to work searching for an answer. My intuition felt a solution was at hand and I was determined to find it.

The birth of Nibnook

Four years ago while helplessly searching through my collage of outlines, characters and connections, I discovered the answer. After many first drafts and a feeling that I needed more in my work, I created a system that forever changed me as a writer—the Nibnook algorithm.

With Nibnook, I found a sense of relief, knowing that within the mathematics of nature there is an algorithm where every story I wanted to write already existed. The Nibnook writing tool is an online platform that is the solution for writer’s block for those of every level and genre.

Even with all the challenges of developing the tool, quitting was impossible because I knew one thing: Nibnook would be a game changer. It has given me confidence about the development of my stories, characters and worlds. The Nibnook tool does something I once thought was unimaginable.
